Hummus & Deep Fried Tofu Sandwich
Ingredients
Chickpeas (boiled)
Lemon juice
Tahini (white sesame paste)
Garlic (crushed)
Salt
Olive oil
*Blend all ingredients above in food processor until thoroughly mixed.
Bread
Deep fried tofu
Carrot (pickled thin strips carrot in vinegar overnight)
Lettuce
Onion (Soak the thinly sliced onion in cold water for about 30 minutes)
Soy mayonnaise
Hummus is very easy to cook and taste really great. I love to cook my hummus sandwich with deep fried tofu. They make perfect combination.
Before you make your sandwich, it would be good to roast deep fried tofu on a pan until it becomes golden brown both side.
